I’m an avid reader and aspiring writer from Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland), Aotearoa (New Zealand).

This Substack is a place to share in-depth book reviews, personal essays, opinions pieces and the occasional short story. I have a penchant for unreliable narrators and female rage lit so if that’s your jam, you’ll be happy here.

I’m currently working on my first novel so much of my musings here are on the experience of writing, how to get over yourself and how to unlock creative freedom.
